The Chartered Institute of Housing is committed to the wellbeing of all individuals we work with and as such, we are continually monitoring government and NHS advice on actions to be taken during the current COVID-19 outbreak.
During this time, it’s important for us all to take a reasonable and balanced approach to ensure that the health and wellbeing of the individuals we work with every day is a key priority.
CIH Housing Academy online activities will continue as planned at the present time, apprenticeship support and development will be undertaken using virtual technology where possible. Open face to face training events and qualifications will be postponed and rescheduled to a later date in the year. In-house/company training and qualifications programmes will be discussed with individual employers and we will be in contact over the next week to look at arrangements.
We are continually reviewing our plans and activities to support the integrity of assessment and security of individuals, should the situation or advice change we will notify partners of alternative arrangements.
